Welcome to Mrs. Riser's class and the 2015-16 school year!
At high school level, we study American History and World History in connection with LA Tech's Dual Enrollment program. Qualifying students will receive college credits for successful completion.
At the middle school level, students are introduced to the history of Louisiana or the elements of grammar and literature.
For each class, students are expected to come to class prepared to interact with class discussions, take notes, demonstrate an understanding of the material through class assignments and tests, and behave in a Christian manner which includes respect, integrity, and self-control.
I hope all of my students will be excited to learn new things and will feel comfortable asking questions when they "don't get it." Always remember that the question you ask was probably the same one lots of your classmates have as well.
